This group project have been made at the end of the 2024 school year. My role was Game / Puzzle Designer.

CONSOLIDATING THE NARRATIVE
our goal was to consolidate the narrative
in order to help all the professions within
our group to know where we where going.
As it was also in the particular style of
wes anderson, we had to learn more
about the specificities that we have
to add to the project.
About making the puzzles, it is also
very important to know where we are,
what we are doing and the limits we
cannot cross.
I came up with a lot of ideas that weren't
always what we were looking for,
but which Sometimes managed to inspire
new ideas!
It have taken 2 weeks for this task.
CREATING A PUZZLE DOUMENT
As oral communication can a lot of time
leads to misunderstandings, it was
mandatory to have a step by step puzzle
document wich shows how it works.
We have 2 differents puzzles :
The pocket watch puzzle is only using
the props, wich was a problem given
our extensive level design.
It's why the lobster pick puzzle has to
use the level space. (in the end, it didn't
made any difference : 1/8 of the available
space was used.)
Try to stay to the right path of the wes
anderson universe was tough, wich lead us
to waste time and our focus on what we
wanted.
It have taken 2 weeks for this task.
noises AND SONGS
We were lost at our foggy universe, so
finding the right musics to fit our intentions
was quite a challenge.
Our vertical slice is to find time for an aliby
for a character. But as the song have to be
chill, it also have to be mysterious, because
event though we are player all the chara-
cters, we don't know who is/are the killer(s).
It was finally settled on jazz music with a
moving train noise.
For the noises, it only have to match the
texture that was being interacted with.
With only 2 characters, the lack of songs
and noises, have gave a dead rather than
mysterious effect.
